Self check-in, name on room door. Decent kitchen facilities, enough equipment for simple meal. Spotless shared toilets and changing room. Remote but peaceful location, ample parking. Open check-in, no problem with late arrival. Welcome with key on door and note. Clean and good shared bathroom, shower, and kitchen. Warm comfortable room. Complete kitchen available for guests. Great for those on a budget and in a group. Bring food due to lack of on-site restaurant.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage in a beautiful location, strategically positioned for exploring the stunning eastern fjords. the beds were comfortable and the rooms, although a bit small for four people, were well-maintained. the bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of breakfast options available, including granola, cereals, tea, and coffee. the kitchen was well-equipped, making it convenient for cooking our own meals.
The showers could use some more hooks inside to hang our belongings while showering, as it was a bit challenging to keep everything organized.

I recently stayed at a beautiful hostel nestled in the middle of nowhere. The location was so peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hostel was renovated from an old sheephouse and had a simple yet cozy interior. The kitchen area was well-equipped and there was a big table where guests could socialize. The whole place felt like a hidden gem. I also loved that there was a coffeehouse and concert venue right next door, adding to the unique charm of the place. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a remote location.

Our recent stay at Braz in Berunes was absolutely fantastic. The moment we entered the hostel, we were immediately impressed by the inviting and warm atmosphere. The common area was spacious and cozy, with plenty of seating options for guests to relax and socialize. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our own meals.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of lockers in the dorms and the potential for noise if the place was fully booked, these did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean, and the views of the fjord were breathtaking.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming guesthouse on the East coast of Iceland. The warm and comfortable room provided a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. The location, although still a work in progress, offered stunning views of the fjord and a perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the area. While there wasn't an on-site restaurant, the complete kitchen available for hostel guests allowed us to prepare our own meals. Bringing our own food turned out to be a small inconvenience compared to the scenic drive around the fjord to the next town. we had a delightful experience and would recommend this guesthouse to others.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and their exceptional hospitality made us feel right at home. Despite the rain, they went out of their way to accommodate us and even provided an extra room in their private house. The guesthouse had a charming old feel to it and offered cozy common areas on both floors. The fully-equipped common kitchen was a bonus, and everything was kept clean and tidy. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its warm welcome and outstanding hospitality.
